Using Tags with Values

Do you offer courses in various languages and want to ensure that your customers select the appropriate offering before booking, and can immediately identify the course language A? Or are there other distinguishing features of your offerings that you wish to highlight in the overview? If so, tags with values could be the ideal solution for you. This feature allows you to assign different values to individual tags and display them, for example, in the offering table via the Design Manager. This enhances clarity on your website and enables your customers to make informed booking decisions.

Adding a value to a tag

You can easily extend tags by adding a colon (:); after that, you can set a value for each tag. The basic structure is as follows: tagname:value B.

Example: Making the language of instruction visible

You have courses with different languages of instruction and want to specify the language used in each offering. You offer courses in Italian, German, and English.

For offerings with Italian as the language of instruction, assign the tag «Kurssprache:IT»; for German, assign «Kurssprache:DE»; and for English, assign «Kurssprache:EN».

Displaying tag values in the offering overview

To display an additional column with tag values (e.g., Kurssprache) in the offering overview, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the Design Manager and select the design you wish to edit.

  2. Click on the "Offerings Overview" template.

  3. Double-click to open the "Offerings Table" widget.

  4. In the widget settings, you can now create a custom column:

    • Add the desired tag (e.g., Kurssprache).

    • Assign an appropriate column title (e.g., Language of Instruction).

    • Add the new column under the table columns.

  5. Save your settings.

The new column will then appear in the offering overview on your website, displaying the corresponding tag values for each offering.

Tip: Filtering by tags in the booking process

In the offer overview, you can provide your customers with the option to find precisely the offers that meet their requirements through targeted filtering. More information can be found in this documentation: Offer Filters in the Offer Overview.

Display Tag Values in Offer Details

To display an additional row with tag values (e.g., course language) in the offer details, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the Design Manager and select the design you wish to edit.

  2. Click on the 'Offer Details' Template.

  3. Open the 'Offer Details' widget by double-clicking.

  4. In the widget settings, you can now create a custom row:

    • Add the desired tag (e.g., Kurssprache).

    • Assign an appropriate row label (e.g., Language of Instruction).

    • Add the new row below the table details.

  5. Save your settings.

The new row will then appear in the offer details on your website, displaying the corresponding tag values for each offer.
