PayPal Checkout

With our new integration of PayPal Checkout, you have the option of offering country-specific functions such as "PayLater" (for installment payments) and direct credit card payments. In addition, a refund function has been implemented directly from edoobox V2, which simplifies your entire payment process via PayPal.
If you do not yet have a PayPal account and would like to offer this payment method to your customers, you can create a PayPal account directly on the PayPal website. You can then link this PayPal account to edoobox in just a few steps.

Connect PayPal Checkout
To use the new PayPal Checkout integration, proceed as follows:
Log in to your edoobox account and navigate to the payment systems in the edoobox settings (app menu > Settings > Payment systems)
Connect your PayPal account there by clicking on "Connect". You will then be asked to log in to your PayPal account.

As soon as you have connected your PayPal account, PayPal checks your account and releases it to edoobox. This process may take a few minutes. During this time, a message will be displayed: "The merchant onboarding process has not yet been completed or has failed. Please try this action again later.
PayPal account ID: *Your ID*"To check whether the onboarding process has been completed, click on the "Refresh" button.
As soon as the onboarding process is complete, Paypal Checkout can be activated as a payment system.
Terms and conditions
By activating PayPal, you accept that PayPal and edoobox will charge the following fees per transaction:

PayPal's conditions vary based on the country, number and type of transactions and the turnover generated. The fees are between 1.5 % + € 0.35 and 3.4 % + €/CHF 0.55.
PayPal and edoobox fees are deducted directly from the transaction total. If a 100% refund is issued, all fees are refunded directly to the customer. The customer does not see any fees incurred.
Reimbursement
Thanks to the newly implemented refund function in edoobox V2, refunds can be made quickly and easily directly from your edoobox account. The refund button is directly linked to the transaction - to make a refund, go to the "Transactions" section via the app menu and click on the desired transaction. The details of the desired transaction, including the button for the refund, will open in the dynamic sidebar.
