Numerous pre-configured email templates are available in edoobox. Based on these templates, emails are automatically sent as soon as a specific event occurs – for example, when a booking is completed or the minimum or maximum number of participants is reached.
Editing Email Templates
Email templates can be individually customized starting from the Limited2 subscription. The text is freely editable, and placeholders allow the content to be dynamically adapted to the respective offering.
A separate template can be created for each activated language.
To edit an email template:
-
Click the App Menu (cube) in the top right corner.
-
Select Settings.
-
Open Email in the menu.
-
Click the System Templates tab.
-
Select, edit, and save the desired template.

Placeholders in Email Templates
Placeholders can be used to dynamically adapt email content to offerings, bookings, or participants. The following overview shows which placeholders are available and what data each outputs.

Not all placeholders are available in every email template!
Headers and Footers in PDF Documents
Use the "Insert" menu to add a header and footer to the PDF attachments.
The header and footer will then be automatically repeated on every page of the PDF.
PDF Attachments and Backgrounds
Emails can be automatically supplemented with relevant PDF attachments. Similarly, a PDF template can be set as a background for booking confirmations, invoices, tickets, and certificates. The following guide explains how this functionality works.

Offering-Specific Additional Texts
If your communication requires additional information – e.g., links to documents, preparation notes, or access credentials – these can be specifically stored per offering. The following guide explains how such content is displayed in emails or PDFs.

IF Conditions
IF Conditions allow for even more flexible customization of email templates – content can be displayed only when specific conditions are met. This is ideal for context-dependent texts, images, or notifications.
