Custom PDF attachments and templates for e-mail templates

If you have important documents that you would like to send automatically attached to a specific email, edoobox allows you to add up to five of your own (static) PDF attachments per email template and per active language. These PDF attachments can be integrated both in the system templates and in your own individual templates. This allows you to send your general terms and conditions (GTC) or other important documents directly with your emails.

Attach PDFs to e-mail templates

To attach a PDF file to an email template, navigate to the "Settings" of edoobox via the app menu. In the settings, open the "Email" tab A and click on the system templates B (or your own templates). Select the desired template in which you would like to attach the PDF.

As soon as the desired template has been opened in the new window, select the paper clip icon C and upload the desired PDFs.

Info: Your own PDF as an attachment to an e-mail template

• A maximum of 5 PDFs can be attached per e-mail template and per language.

• Only PDF files are permitted, other formats do not work.

• A maximum size of 1.5 MB is permitted per attached PDF file

• The PDF file is sent with each e-mail template and cannot be created individually for each offer. It is therefore advisable to only attach static PDFs such as terms and conditions. As before, changing PDFs can be inserted as a link, e.g. via the additional text blocks in email templates.

Use a PDF template for the edoobox PDFs

Do you have a template that you would like to use as the background for your edoobox PDFs (Booking.pdf, Certificate.pdf, (Cancellation)Invoice.pdf, Ticket.pdf)? You can upload a separate file for the individual edoobox PDFs in all active languages to quickly create a uniform look for your PDF attachments. Use your company's templates and load them into your edoobox PDFs with just a few clicks to adapt them to your corporate design.

The button for attaching the PDF file is also located in the corresponding edoobox PDF and shows the Adobe PDF D icon.

• One file can be uploaded per edoobox PDF and per language

• Only PDF-A files are permitted, other formats do not work.

• The maximum size of the file is 1.0 MB

• The one-page template is used for all pages of the edoobox PDF
