Template | Header and template

Only one template is available for the header and footer. These two templates appear consistently in the header and footer of all other templates and are therefore intended for static information that should be present throughout the entire booking process.

In both templates—both in the header and footer—you also have the option of inserting the Text Block B and Voucher Sale Button C widgets. The advantage of placing the voucher sales button in the header or footer is that customers are offered voucher sales on every page of the booking process, which increases the visibility and accessibility of this offer.

You can configure the following settings in the Navigation Menu widget:

  • Position menu, define where your navigation should be displayed (default:pinned at the top).

  • Show All Offers buttonor not. This takes the person making the booking from the offer details back to the offer overview. If you have integrated your categories or offers individually and do not want participants to be able to access the overview of all offers, uncheck the All Offers button.

  • Show or hide the Home button. This button is displayed during the booking process (steps 1–7 of the registration/booking process) and allows the person making the booking to return to the offer details page at any stage of the booking process.

  • Show search fieldor not. The search field is only displayed in the Quotation Overview and Quotation Details templates.

  • Show login buttonor not. If you have activated the participant account in edoobox, your participants can log in via the login button.

Text Block B

Use the text block to insert text and images in all active system languages at any point. Select whether the text block should always be displayed or only when the offer overview is open in the iFrame itself.

Tip: Text Block

Use the text block to create a page header with images, company logo, and company address. The general widget setting "Visibility for participants" allows you to display this text block only when the offers are displayed outside your website. (Display directly in edoobox, not on your website.)

Voucher sales button C

When visitors click on the voucher sales button , they are redirected to the voucher sales page, where they can purchase any voucher from you via edoobox. You can find the page in the Design Manager under Template | Body under Other pages to edit. The following settings are available in the widget settings for the voucher sales button:

  • You can customize the "Buy voucher now" button text yourself.

  • The color of the button can also be selected from a predefined list of colors.

  • You define the value of the vouchers available for purchase yourself. There is no option for the person making the booking to define a value themselves.

  • You choose which price is selected by default when the person making the booking clicks on the button.

  • The currency is set by default to the currency stored in your account, but can also be customized.

  • You have two options for the "Type of settlement" setting. With the option "Reduction offer price", select this option if you do not want the voucher to be redeemable for additional services, for example. If this does not matter to you, select the option "Settlement with booking total".

  • In addition to the voucher values already available, the price categories of an offer can be made available for selection when the person making the booking clicks on the voucher sale button on the offer details page.
