Set up Mailjet for sending e-mails
Mailjet is a real-time cloud mailing platform - scalable, agile and flexible
Sending emails via Mailjet is a good alternative to your own SMTP. Mailjet sends signed emails in high quality. The status of each e-mail sent is visible, i.e. whether it has reached the e-mail recipient, whether it has been opened or whether it has been rejected as a bounce (spam) by the receiving server.
Create and connect a Mailjet account

In edoobox, you can link Mailjet under "Settings" - "E-mail" in the "Server" tab in the MailJet (recommended) section.
Connect Mailjet
To do this, enter your e-mail address, the public key and the secret key and then click on "Connect". You can find the two keys in Mailjet under My Account → REST API → API Key Management (Primary and Sub-account).

Mailjet is suitable for your own domains. Larger providers such as Hotmail, GMX, Outlook etc. cannot be stored as they do not have access to the DNS entries.
Reputation & deliverability
Mailjet not only has the advantage that any number of emails can be sent, but also that your reputation comes directly from you. With the noreply@edoobox.email email address, you share your reputation with many other companies that use edoobox. Of course, we strive to keep the reputation of noreply@edoobox.email positive - but we recommend that you link your own SMTP or Mailjet.
To improve your deliverability and your reputation as a sender, we advise you to configure some DNS records. This enables Mailjet to sign outgoing emails with DKIM and DomainKeys and informs your contacts' email providers that Mailjet is permitted to send your emails.
