Login settings

Display the payment page

After completing a participant booking, should the payment page be displayed or should you switch directly to the participant account page? On the payment page, the participant can see all the payment options available to them.

If you activate the MustPay function in an offer, the payment page is always displayed, even if you have activated "Do not display (default)".

Participant account with password

With the login, participants do not have to fill out the participant form again the next time they register, as this is then already filled out from the first registration and no duplicates are created, but all bookings are saved in one and the same participant.

If a participant completes a registration/booking, they are then logged in and can make further bookings. If this is not desired, there are other options:

  • Account with password, do not log in
The participant is not logged in after completing the booking and a password is created for this participant account.
The participant is sent their login details with the booking confirmation.

  • Account without password, do not log in
The participant is not logged in after completing the booking and no password is created for this participant account.
This option is used if mainly one-off registrations are expected. No login details are sent to the participant with the booking confirmation.

Registration only via active provider and edoobox login

A participant who wishes to make a repeat booking can log in using their login details (e-mail plus password). It is also possible to log in via an existing provider (e.g. Google, Windows Live, etc.). The desired provider must first be activated in the "Login via external provider" settings box. If required, a new provider can be created so that participants can log in using their existing company login details. The following options are available:

  • All (standard)
participants can make a booking by filling in the participant form or by logging in.

  • Only active providers and edoobox login
participants must log in via an existing login in order to make a booking. This option can be used to allow registered persons to make a booking in your system or in edoobox.

  • Only providers
Participants must log in via a provider (e.g. the provider you have set up yourself) in order to make a booking. Use this option if you only want to allow people registered in your system to make a booking.

Registration system for participants (global or local)

Determines how your customers should log in:

Limited to the edoobox account: Customers receive a separate account only in your edoobox account and only see bookings with you.
Global: Customers use a central edoobox account for all bookings with all edoobox providers.

  • Participants: See all bookings across all edoobox accounts with one login - provided the same login was used.

  • Providers: Continue to only see bookings in their own account. There is no insight into bookings from other accounts.

  • Duplicate users (with the same e-mail in the same account) can be merged using the duplicate search. When merging, connections to other accounts are lost.

  • The global login only applies to new participant profiles as soon as the function has been activated. Existing profiles can be migrated by Support on request.

Cancellation function for participants (cancel booking)

Participants can cancel bookings themselves up to the "registration end date".
The following options are available:

  • Inactive (default)
The booking cannot be canceled by the participant.

  • Active, create TODO note
The participant can create a cancellation request. The request appears in the TODO notes and can be edited or carried out by the administrator.

  • Active, without confirmation
The participant can log in and cancel a booking independently without you receiving a notification.
