edoobox is DPA and GDPR Compliant

What steps do I need to take to ensure my edoobox account is GDPR (EU) compliant?

If your company has an establishment in an EU member state or you offer edoobox services to individuals in the EU, you are subject to the GDPR.

Once you select an edoobox subscription after the trial period, you will be prompted to digitally sign the Data Processing Agreement.

What steps do I need to take to ensure my edoobox account is FADP (Switzerland) compliant?

If you process personal data of a natural person from Switzerland, you must use an FADP-compliant booking system. This is based on Federal Act BBI 2020 7639.

Once you select an edoobox subscription after the trial period, you will be prompted to digitally sign the Data Processing Agreement.

Proceed as follows:

  1. In the "App Menu," select "Settings" ( A ), then "Privacy Policy" ( B )

  2. Within the Privacy Policy, you will find the «Edit Declaration» button C.

  3. From the three available options, select the one that best suits your business. Multiple agreements can also be signed simultaneously if your specific business case necessitates it.

  4. Click the «Sign Data Processing Agreement» button D.

  5. You will receive an email containing a link to the agreement, which you can review and sign online.

  6. Sign the agreement on the last page.

  7. The signed agreement will be sent to you via email.

We recommend reviewing and, if necessary, adjusting your Data Protection Policy/Privacy Policy and your General Terms and Conditions (GTC). (These can be found in the «Main Navigation» under «Settings» within «Legal Texts».)

Please Note: Existing Customers

For existing customers, we recommend completing this action as soon as possible. Under the GDPR, we are obligated to mutually sign a Data Processing Agreement pursuant to Art. 28 Para. 3 GDPR.
