Legal texts
Legally relevant texts such as terms and conditions, cancellation policy, privacy policy, etc. can be stored in edoobox and integrated into the booking process. Which texts are displayed can be customized. Only the actively stored texts used in the design are displayed to bookers for confirmation.
Capture legal texts
Open Settings → Legal Texts and click on New Law. A
Navigate to the "Legal texts" settings and enter a new legal text.
Assign a name to the legal text, for example, Terms and Conditions.
Set title for the legal text
Paste the desired text into the editor and save the legal text. This will initially be stored with the status Draft. Then change the status to Publish to activate the legal text.
Record the text of the law and approve it for publication
Manage versions of legal texts
If an existing legal text needs to be amended, you can simply create a new version B, for example named Terms and Conditions Version 2, and publish it.
This means that the previous version remains visible in the system while the new version is actively used. In this way, legal texts can be continuously updated without losing previous versions.

Presentation in the booking process
To ensure that the stored texts can be displayed and confirmed when the booking is completed, the corresponding widgets must be integrated in the Design Manager:
Open Design Manager, navigate to the "Login Summary" page, and add the Legal Texts C widget there.
Add the "Legal texts" widget to the "Registration summary" page.
Open the widget and select the desired legal text. If several legal texts are used, for example, terms and conditions and cancellation policy, you can add the widget multiple times and assign a different legal text to each one.
Select the desired legal text in the widget
During the booking process, participants see the stored legal texts, can download them as PDF files, and must actively accept the texts. The current version and the date on which it was stored are displayed.

View accepted legal texts in the backend
In the backend, you can view which legal texts were accepted by participants in the booking details for completed bookings. This documents which version of a legal text was valid at the time of booking.
