What do I need to do to make my edoobox account GDPR (EU) compliant?

If a branch of your company is located in an EU member state or you offer edoobox services to people in the EU, you are subject to the GDPR.

As soon as you select an edoobox subscription after the test phase, you will be asked to digitally sign the order data processing contract.

What do I have to do to ensure that my edoobox account complies with the DPA (Switzerland)?

As soon as you process personal data of a natural person from Switzerland, you must use a DPA-compliant booking system. This is based on the Federal Act BBI 2020 7639.

As soon as you select an edoobox subscription after the test phase, you will be asked to digitally sign the order data processing contract.

Proceed as follows:

  1. In the "App menu "A under "Settings", select "Privacy policy "B

  2. In the privacy policy you will find the button "Edit declaration" C

  3. Choose the option that suits your business from the three options. You can also sign several contracts at the same time if this is necessary for your business case.

  4. Click on the "Sign order data processing contract" button D

  5. You will receive an e-mail with a link to the contract, which you can check and sign online

  6. Sign the contract on the last page.

  7. The signed contract will be sent to you by e-mail.

Tip: Customize legal texts

We recommend that you check your privacy policy/data protection declaration and your terms and conditions (GTC) and adjust them if necessary (you can find these in the "Main navigation" under "Settings" under "Legal texts".

Please note: existing customers

For existing customers, we recommend carrying out this action as soon as possible. According to the GDPR, we are obliged to mutually sign an order data processing contract in accordance with Art. 28 para. 3 GDPR.
