Instant bank transfer (Klarna)



In edoobox you can also implement instant transfers from Klarna so that your customers can make bookings using real-time transaction confirmations for banks in the EU. To create an account and test it free of charge for 30 days, you can register here via edoobox and benefit from more favorable conditions (see fees table).

In the second step, you can choose whether you already have a SOFORT bank account or want to open a new one. You can also use Sofort Überweisung without a SOFORT bank account.

Complete new project

Select a project name for your project, e.g. "edoobox Shop". Under " Shop system " you can select "edoobox" or "Own store system". Under "Website" you can enter your domain. Then fill in all the details for your bank account.

You may not change this entire block! edoobox communicates all information to http://sofort.com during a payment.

Linking an sofort.com project with edoobox

Copy the unique configuration key A in your newly created project. Add this to the edoobox "Settings" under "Payment systems "Klarna" and activate this payment system.

Please note: Integration into the edoobox

Wait until the project has been checked and approved by Sofort.com before adding it to edoobox!

Overview and procedure (from Sofort.com)

From your customers' point of view, a transaction with Sofort is divided into the following steps:

  • As soon as a customer wishes to pay by Sofort, they are directed to a Sofort GmbH page.

  • Under the overview of the transfer data (payee, purpose, amount), your customer will be asked to enter their bank sort code.

  • Your customer will then be asked to log in with their online banking access data.

  • After successful registration, your customer must confirm and approve the transfer with a valid TAN.

  • If a valid TAN has been entered, the transfer will be authorized and your customer will receive a summary of the transaction.

  • Finally, a click takes them back to your webshop.

 

Please note: possible sources of error

If error messages are displayed, e.g. for canceled payments, this can have various reasons. Important to contact Klarna support support, the transaction ID A is important, as it allows Klarna to determine the specific background of the failed transaction.

The error message issued by edoobox can have various origins, for example:

  • API key was stored incorrectly or not stored in the edoobox account

  • The amount transferred is less than € 1.00

  • The account in Sofort/Klarna has not yet been activated

Please exclude such origins yourself first, as edoobox support cannot gain access to your Klarna account to assist you.
